Thanks to a Frenchie scholar a book was located in the 19th Century describing the life of a knight William Marshall. Bill will be with us for a while so let’s get the back story on this guy as well as update the lovely Eleanor and her baby boys.
Hank and his BFF Tom seem to have fallen out of love. Hank is just trying to run a kingdom and a few duchy’s but Tom wants to give him a hard time. Can it end well?
This week we get to really meet Eleanor get her back story and wonder if she is the original Wonder Woman. She can ditch Louis the kid and marry our lusty young King Hank. Marriage made in heaven for now.
Wahoo! We’re back on crusades with the kid, Conrad the german and a big bunch of hard men. We get to meet Uncle Raysy and the young blonde god Bohemond 2. If that isn’t enough we’ve got assassins. Brilliant. Here’s a picture of Raysy meeting the kid – but where’s Eleanor?
Hank’s dead from a dodgy eel sandwich and his nephew Stephen of Blois will hop onto the big chair and get the silly hat. Surely his dear cousin Matilda won’t mind and everyone will get along nicely.
With Billy Rufus out of the way, Hank can jump into the big job. But hang on says big brother Bobbie, shouldn’t it be me who inherits England? Oh dear, more brotherly love wars on the way.
Here’s the tale of Billy Rufus. Won’t hear much of a kind word about this guy from our medieval historians but I like the lad. He seems to be a party boy, likes to have young men of fashion and young ladies of loose morals in his court. Fine by me.
